Description: Caustic soda comes in several varieties: flake, granular and liquid. Granulated caustic soda (caustic soda, sodium hydroxide) is a white spherical or hemispherical granule, light coloring is allowed. Liquid caustic soda (liquid sodium hydroxide) is a colorless or colored liquid with a soda content of 20% and 46%. Caustic soda is used in chemical, gas, metallurgical, petrochemical and other industries.

Transportation. The product is transported by rail, road, water transport in covered vehicles in packaging and in bulk in rail and road tanks.

Storage. Caustic soda solutions are stored in closed alkali-resistant containers in closed unheated warehouse premises, which must be equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation.
